The canteen is open Monday-Thursday.
Pizza Day is on Friday's. It is $1.50/slice.
Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, March 18th from 4:00-7:00 pm and Friday, March 19th from 8:00-11:00 am. Forms were sent home with report cards. Please return your conference request form with your son/daughter on Monday, March 15th.
Popcorn will be sold this Wednesday at noon.
Athletes of the Week: Amy & Ashley-Junior Basketball
Amy is an essential player on the Junior Girls' Basketball team. She has an excellent sense of the game and impresses everyone with her believable fakes, sharp cuts and perfectly executed shots. Amy has a natural skill and is definitely a force to be reckoned with when she shoots. She also works very hard to improve her skills. She is very coachable and takes direction from her coaches well. Amy has also been very dedicted to the team throughout the season. She never misses a practice or game. Her coaches can always depend on her. Congratulations on a great season Amy.
Ashley is an excellent ball player who has been on the Junior Girls' Basketball team since she was in grade seven. Over the last two years Ashley has continued to develop her skills and game knowledge. She is a good ball handler who always gives 100%. You can always count on Ashley to get the shot up in the last few seconds of the quarter. She is a team player and as a returning member is looked up to. She uses this leadership role to lead by example. Ashley also shows great commitment and never misses practices or games. Excellent work this season Ashley.
The computer lab will be open today at lunch for students who wish to work on P.A. projects.
Artist of the Week: Christine-Band
Christine is a valuable member of the Grade 8 Concert Band. She is always working hard to improve her skills and never afraid to ask for help. Christine makes one of the most difficult wind instruments to play sound effortless. She is a great contributor to our band program. Keep up the great work Christine.
Grade 7 badminton is tomorrow morning at 7:20 am.
Today at lunch, the teachers take on the Junior Basketball teams at 12:30. Students are welcome to watch. Come in and cheer on your favorite teachers.
Today is the last day for students wishing to volunteer for the book fair to see Mr. Brisebois.
