The library at Lincoln Middle School is a place where reading and research are encouraged.  In order to facilitate these goals, certain rules need to be observed so that all may enjoy the library.

-Treat all library materials with care and respect.  Students who lose or damage library materials will be required to pay for their replacement cost.  In keeping with school policy, report cards will not be issued until all outstanding fines are paid.

-No food or drinks are allowed in the library.

-Use an appropriate voice level.  The library is not a silent place, but it is a place where students are expected to be considerate and respectful of one another so that everyone can accomplish his/her tasks.

-The library is equipped with computers that can access the internet for research purposes.  Games, email and chat rooms are not allowed.

-Please ask for permission before using the library printer.  The printer is intended for school work.
