School vandalism often involves graffiti, broken windows, damage to roofs and playground equipment.To report suspicious activity on school grounds between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.or to report an act of school vandalism in Winnipeg call: (204) 231-4556. The Manitoba Association of Parent Councils and Manitoba Education have partnered together to increase parental awareness of the importance of regular daily attendance for students in Manitoba. Please see attached resources.
Busses and Cold Temperatures
Please be advised that with the cold winter weather upon us, there exists the possibility of school buses being cancelled for safety reasons. In the event of extremely cold weather (a wind chill hazard of -45°C or greater at 6:00 am at the Forks) buses will be cancelled and students will need alternate transportation.
The School Division will contact all parents to advise them of bus cancellations. The news media is also alerted to cancellations and Division websites are updated to reflect any announcements.
